Ode to A Moment in A Spring Meadow (pieris napi linn)

For all the vast descending hills to meadow-vales today
Beside the verging of a lane were stalls of crucif’rae,
There, on a crown of floret-stars, upon a Mustard stem
Two pairs of wings in clapped embrace adorned its diadem:
These vast descents of cambered hills by meadow-vales today
Bore forth the loveliest of forms, The Green Veined Pieridae!
